Enterprise Students Won Pet Food Drive Against Leona Libby

The Richland School District is proud to recognize the efforts of our students and community partners in a successful Pet Food Drive held in collaboration with the West Richland Community Care Foundation, Meals on Wheels, and the West Richland Police Department.

Middle school students from Enterprise and Libby demonstrated remarkable generosity and community spirit by donating a combined total of 1,062.8 pounds of pet food. These donations were given to Meals on Wheels to help support the pets of recipients who may be facing challenges in providing for their animals.

Enterprise Middle School led the way with 606.6 pounds of donations, while Libby Middle School contributed an impressive 456.2 pounds. The friendly competition concluded with Enterprise taking the lead by 150.4 pounds.

This community-driven event would not have been possible without the partnership and support of the West Richland Police Department, West Richland Community Care Foundation, Meals on Wheels, Domino’s, Rad Towing, and the many students, staff, and families who contributed to the drive.

We are incredibly proud of our students for demonstrating compassion and leadership. Their efforts made a meaningful impact on the lives of local residents and their pets!
